A rematch of MSI Finals where RNG defeated T1 in a grueling 5 game series is upon us. RNG fell through summer and had to make it here through the Play-Ins, looking like every game is returning them to form. While T1 faltered at the start of groups but finished in dominating style going into quarters as serious tournament contenders. We don’t know who will win the series, but we do know that these DFS picks will deliver, regardless of who advances to the semis.
#1- T1 Gumayushi
This guy has been in the spotlight ever since he joined T1.Young, crazy mechanics and with the best team in Korea. He has never disappointed. Gumayushi didn’t die in the last 4 games. Let that sink in. In two of them he had 10 and 11 kills.
While Gala will be the strongest AD he’s faced in the entire tournament, he’s also gone against Ruler in the LCK and won, so we know him and Keria are capable of amassing massive scorelines even against RNG.
#2- RNG Gala
The most important player on RNG will also be one of the most important players for DFS. RNG loves to play around him with roams and resources, and he constantly delivers. A good Gala game will yield over 10 kills which is incredible for you.
One of the best things about him is he rarely dies. Over the entire tournament he’s averaged 1.4 deaths a game. Wow!
#3- T1 Zeus
100T head coach Reapared said in a recent stream that Zeus is the best top laner in the tournament, it’s not close.
We already knew this coming in, then we saw him play and now Reapered’s saying it too. So why wouldn’t you want the best player in the role on your DFS team?
#4- RNG Xiahou
Remember how Xiahou’s Akali shattered 100T’s hope with a 10k damage teamfight? That’s what we’re counting on for DFS. Just because he liked to play Galio here and there people thought Xiaohou would be playing a supportive mid laner and wrote him off.
They were dead wrong. His carrying power is as strong as ever and while he may not be killing Faker in lane. He will definitely be killing side laners with champions like Sylas, Leblanc and Akali.
#5- T1 Faker
T1 and Faker are synonymous. He’s unbelievably clutch, and in a grudge match for the MSI finals we think Faker is a safe bet for some good DFS gains.
He’s dying a little bit too much, but when he has a good game, it blows the rest out of the water. If consistency is what you’re looking for, he’s not your guy. But in a T1 win, he’s sure to deliver.
T1 and RNG play today, October 21st at 2pm PST.
