Mid-Season Invitational (MSI): Busan, South Korea

The draw for the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) groups has taken place, following the first day of the LCS finals. All stages of the event will be at the Bexco Exhibition Hall in Busan, South Korea.

Tournament Format
The top teams from 11 regions will compete at MSI over the course of three stages: Group Stage, the Rumble Stage, and the Knockout Stage. Per Riot, the LCL (CIS) will not send a team to MSI due to the cancellation of the LCL Spring Split.
May 10-15 - Group Stage: Two groups of four and one group of three. Group A and B to play a best-of-one double round-robin, Group C to play best-of-one quadruple round robin.
May 20-24 - Rumble Stage: The top two teams from each Group advance and those six remaining teams will play a best-of-one double round-robin.
May 27-29 - Knockout Stage: The top four teams from the Rumble Stage will compete in a best-of-five, single-elimination bracket. The two teams remaining will face off in the Finals to determine a winner and who takes home the trophy and the 2022 MSI Champion title.
