As always for DFS we want players that will play the whole series, have high kill participation and don’t feed, while not being too expensive. For JDG vs Rogue the key to making the most out of this series is finding which Rogue players will have a good scoreline, regardless of losing (since they will most likely lose).
#1- JDG 369
He’s playing carries and Odoamne is playing mostly tanks. Need I say more? 369 gets plenty of help from his team and had a 10 kill game as a top laner at Worlds. Let that sink in.
He’s going to get fed, the question is how much. That’s how much you’ll profit from him.
#2 - JDG Kanavi
The only jungler that refuses to play tanks. No Trundle, no Jarvan, no Maokai, only carries. And we like that a lot. It means many points and in combination with a top laner that loves to play carries these two make a deadly pair that is bound to fill up your coffers with their consistently explosive performances.
Also, Kanavi managed to play Nidalee and win with it…you gotta trust a player like that.
#3 - JDG Hope
He isn’t the flashiest player on JDG, but when you’re playing ADC in a post durability world you’re bound to get fed so long as you’re not inting.
He’s played 2 games of Lucian and 1 Kalista which is a good sign for us. A successful game on these picks is early kills, and a clean snowball which can score you a heaping helping of points.
#4 - RGE Larssen
When Rogue was crushing everyone in Week 1, Larssen had one of the best weeks out of any player in the tournament. Rogue will be returning to that playstyle and finding their mojo through him as it’s their best chance to win this series.
You want him on your team, because if you have any hope that Rogue gets some points, they will be scored mainly from the mid lane.
#5 - RGE Comp
During a loss this pick will not get you much, but during a win he just might be your best friend.
There’s a reason why he’s our #5 and out of the entire list of Rogue players, the rest are far behind him.
The reality is that JDG are strong favorites for this series, but for the game or two that Rogue can upset, you can bet your bottom dollar that Comp will play a big part in those wins.
JDG and RGE play on Thursday October 20th at 2pm PST.
