JUNE 29, 2022, SEATTLE - Factor.gg, the world’s most advanced League of Legends esports analytics platform, has partnered with Northern Arena to provide derived metrics and stats to enhance the company’s League of Legends esports broadcasts.
This partnership will allow Northern Arena to continue to deliver best in class broadcasts for the Ligue Française de League of Legends (LFL), which launched this year. These broadcasts are the first-ever in English for the rising league, where many of Europe’s rising League of Legends stars cut their teeth in France.
“Northern Arena is thrilled about this great partnership. We want to set the standard for esports broadcast by producing high quality esports shows with high production values,” said Carl-Edwin Michel, founder and CEO of Northern Arena. “I had my eye on the Factor.gg project for a while now and I'm excited to be able to work with this team. The partnership with Factor.gg will enable us to present all of the statistics the league has to offer, and gives us the opportunity to showcase great story lines and the amazing talent of the players and teams in the LFL.”
As part of the partnership, Factor.gg will provide data that will be utilized by the broadcast team to provide unique insights that might otherwise be impossible to ascertain.
“We’re proud to continue to enhance the esports experience for fans, viewers, and players the world over,” said Chris DeAppolonio, Chief Innovation Officer at Evil Geniuses and Factor.gg. “The use of data for storytelling and education is just one pillar of our approach to become the leader in esports insights and we’re excited to work with Northern Arena to bring this to LFL fans worldwide.”
Fans can tune into the weekly LFL broadcasts on Northern Arena’s Twitch channel, and follow their favorite teams and pros’ progress from all leagues around the world on Factor.gg’s website.
